More Than Racing: Building the Orbea DNA

Orbea FOX Factory team arrived in Val di Sole and Pal Arinsal with the full race paddock for two big consecutive weekends of World Cups. Both destinations are uniquely beautiful and challenging in their own right but our goals remain the same.

We brought our heavy hitters to Italy and Andorra. Orbea FOX Factory Team and Orbea FMD Racing show our monumental commitment to top-flight racing in terms of our ambitions of global success and the investment in time and energy.

Val di Sole, the Valley of the Sun, may offer up steep climbs with steep descents to provide a classic World Cup race, however our goals remain unchanged. Fight for the front of the race, work as a team and embrace the fans that come out to watch us race.

Andorra would be extra special for us, as it saw the gathering of all the elements in the journey so far, with HQ staff, riders and team staff all in the same place. This gave Andorra a unique vibe and allowed us to cement the teamwork between riders, staff, engineers and mechanics in person.

We at Orbea are working to make our paddocks and teams more inclusive. The fans are crucial to our journey and our story is nothing without them, without you. Whether it’s a selfie with our athletes, an autograph or a technical question about your Oiz or Alma, we have got you covered.

While the organisation for our teams in 2025 was new, the connection between ourselves as a brand and the people that are on the ground at the races, be it mechanics, riders, fans alike has not changed. This is part of the Orbea DNA.

Our athletes are the tip of a complex and determined iceberg. Nobody succeeds alone and it is with this strong partnership between the teams and the brand that allows us to compete at the top.

It is easy to only look at the results, beyond that is a group of humans all striving forward. The ninety minutes of time between the tape is a fleeting moment in the effort, passion and trust that goes into running a competitive team on the World stage.
