All for One: The Power Behind Orbea FMD Racing’s Victory

Orbea FMD Racing delivered one of their most powerful and meaningful performances yet, finishing the weekend as the top team.

But the true victory goes far beyond podiums or points, it’s a testament to the incredible teamwork, dedication, and shared belief that runs through every part of this program.

What we saw on TV race runs, split times, finish line moments, is just the surface.

The real story is what happens behind the scenes: mechanics fine-tuning every detail late into the night, soigneurs keeping bodies and minds ready, staff managing logistics, and Orbea engineers working hand in hand with the riders to push the bike’s performance to the limit.

Downhill may seem like an individual sport, but no one reaches the start gate without a team behind them.

Tahnée’s victory, nearly two seconds ahead of second place, wasn’t just her moment.

It was a collective achievement: the outcome of months of preparation, countless hours of testing, problem-solving, adjusting, and perfecting. It was made possible by the trust between rider and mechanic, the dialogue between rider and engineer, the support of the entire team keeping her sharp and confident when it mattered most.

Martin’s 4th place finish, at the same venue where he once claimed a Junior World Championship medal, carried the same weight of shared effort.

In one of the fastest, tightest races of the season, his performance was shaped not only by his own determination, but by the commitment of those working alongside him.

Phoebe and Oli’s strong runs rounded out a weekend where everyone stepped up, every role counted, and the team stood together as one.

This season has brought triumphs and challenges, but the defining thread has been resilience, unity, and the understanding that success is never the work of one person.

It’s the product of a system: of people believing in each other, adapting together, and showing up for one another when it matters most.

At the center of this effort stands the Rallon DH, a bike that itself is a result of teamwork, blending rider input with Orbea’s engineering expertise to create a machine capable of world-class performance.

But no matter how advanced the technology, it’s the human connection, the shared commitment, and the spirit of working as one that transforms potential into real success.

This weekend, Orbea FMD Racing didn’t just race they showed the true meaning of teamwork. Victory here isn’t an individual moment; it’s a collective triumph, built by many, achieved together, and felt far beyond the finish line.

Going Downhill Fast

The Orbea Rallon DH was designed for control and stability at World Cup level, and proved its worth in Poland by guiding Tahnée Seagrave to gold.

We would like to thank the tireless work of the team staff and our partners who have put so much time and effort into allowing the riders to focus on what they do best.

From everyone at Orbea, congratulations to Orbea FMD Racing for another great World Cup.
