MyOrbea Custom: Engineering Becomes Identity

Dawn breaks in Mallabia. In a dark room within Orbea’s vast factory, hundreds of frames lie still. The light flickers on, a fluorescent hum fills the space. The frames—simple, almost triangular structures—are, in truth, feats of engineering, soon to become bicycles full of personality.

A few of those frames leave the room this morning, on their way to painting and assembly. These already have an owner, someone who has chosen every detail: size, finish, colors, ergonomics. Each frame is a bike on the verge of coming to life.

One of them is destined for many podiums. Its rider will carry it to the top of the gravel elite. Morgan’s Terra is unmistakable; the pastel hues of her frame–Lichen Green y Digital Lavender–have led her to glory. The champ loves oversized tires on her OQUO RP50 LTD. Neither the crowd nor she will easily forget the design she poured so much excitement into just months ago.

Hanna sits at her computer to design her Terra Race. She chooses the wheels, customizes her handlebar and seatpost, and decides that a deep Burning Ashes Carbon View will take her to compete with the best this season.

Griffin’s understated Noctiluca Carbon View Terra Race, designed right here in our factory, will soon face endless miles of competition; personal battles fought in pursuit of changing his own small part of the world.

The colors of Gustave’s Terra Race will witness the birth of his immense, about-to-erupt talent. The hues of his kit now paint in Metallic Spark Silver and Mint Green the bikes of his entire team.

Every bicycle has its own story. From Mallabia, Terra bikes will set out today to chase the dawn down lonely trails, and perhaps a Terra Race or two will rekindle a rider’s passion for competition, one that has never stopped burning in their heart.
