The moment of truth has arrived for the Orbea Factory Team. The World Cup is back and with it the excitement and adrenaline of XC racing at the highest level. It’s time to take the first big step and show that the UCI MTB World Cup circuits will be the team’s natural territory, right where they should be; a place where talent and dedication are always rewarded.
This project’s big leap into new territory, paired with a completely restructured team and objectives, represents a new milestone for Orbea in its goal of creating a benchmark XC team. The Orbea Factory Team will not only strive for the best results and put the equipment to the test, but is focused on bringing the excitement and accessibility of racing to more people.

GOING FOR A GREAT DEBUT IN NOVE MESTO
For the first time, the Orbea Factory Team will compete in the UCI MTB World Cup. Dreaming of a podium finish in the first event may sound ambitious, but talent and desire have no limits.
OIZ AND ALMA, TWO DIFFERENT MACHINES WITH THE SAME OBJECTIVE
Each circuit in the World Cup will come with a new challenge. From the tightest corners and most technical descents, the team will have to choose the right machine for each race. Fortunately, the Orbea Factory Team riders have our most precise and high-performance bikes for XC: Oiz, designed to fly through the most technical tracks and has been named the 2023 Bike of the Year by Motorpress Ibérica; and Alma, a mountain bike designed for explosive courses that require putting watts to the rear wheel.
The Orbea Factory Team not only has two of our most advanced models in their arsenal, but has also personalized them to create two true works of art on wheels that will attract all eyes.
