Victory for Tahnée Seagrave in Lenzerheide with Rallon DH
In Lenzerheide we lived a weekend that reminded us what this project is truly made of.
It all began with an unexpected setback: Tahnée was out in Q1, a tough blow in a discipline where every detail makes the difference.
What seemed like a definitive stumble turned into the first step toward something much bigger.
In the midst of adversity, an opportunity was born. The strength of the group, trust in the process and Tahnée’s resilience transformed pressure into energy. Tahnée recovered from Q1, pulled through successfully in Q2 and made it into the final. Then came the reward: a flawless run that not only carried her to the top of the podium but also gave us our third victory of the season.
The result: a display of talent and courage that reaffirms our path in DH.
“It was a weekend of extreme emotions. Going from being out of the first qualification to winning in Lenzerheide shows what it means to believe, persist and never give up”
This victory has a special meaning. It is Tahnée’s third so far this season, and also Orbea’s third in the Downhill World Cup, in our very first season in this discipline. An achievement that validates the path we have taken together with FMD Racing, where every step in the development of the new bike has been built in close collaboration with the team.
But beyond the cup, the times or the podium, Lenzerheide reminds us why we are here: for the thrill of pushing limits, for the strength of a team that never gives up and for the excitement of writing a new chapter in our story.
Sharing the Spotlight
The weekend also brought us another great result: Simon Andreassen reached the podium with third place in the Short Track (XCC), confirming the excellent form of the Orbea FOX Factory Team and the solidity of the work we are doing across all disciplines.
And this is just the beginning. Next Thursday we will launch a new episode of Beyond the Tapes, where we will share more details and experiences from a weekend that will remain in our memory.
We would like to thank the tireless work of the team staff and our partners who have put so much time and effort into allowing the riders to focus on what they do best.
From everyone at Orbea, congratulations to Orbea FMD Racing for another great World Cup.
