It’s the end of an EWS season where collaboration with sponsors was the key ingredient for the Orbea FOX Enduro Team.
Short but intense.
The curtains have lowered on the 2020 Enduro World Series after the third and final race of the season.
The technical trails in Finale Ligure (Italy) squeezed everything out of the Orbea FOX Enduro Team and their Rallons for one last shot. The last adrenaline rush of a strange year.
Did you know that Orbea offers the #myorbea option. Our riders also paint their own bikes. Water droplets are unfortunately not included. So calm before the storm. Looking in the right direction, leaning the bike, gripping tires, proper braking, and much more of feeling to do a proper curve. Damien Oton.
The arrival of champion Damien Oton marked the beginning of an atypical season and confirmed that we were on the right track: a team strengthened by collaboration.
FOX jumped on as the team’s main sponsor and opened the doors for a close-knit partnership that allowed us to work with greater intensity. The same can be said for our partnerships with Race Face and other brands involved. The results provided us all – athletes and brands alike – with technological improvements designed to conquer summits around the world.
Most technical stage of the day, stage 3. Studying lines at practice. Edgar, Vid and a bit forward Damien. When we talk, we say that the competitors are flying over the stage. In fact, they do. Vid Peršak. Rough terrain is a constant in EWS races, but it makes the racers even more excited. The driving style comes more visible and we enjoy when the riders play with the track. Edgar Carballo. Vid Peršak in his moment : ‘’Can’t wait to be a little offseason, I’ll dig the biggest jumps behind the house’’.
New formulas and configurations were tested non-stop, and trial and error was the perfect method for achieving success.
Each rider has their own desires and needs for racing bike. Last Pre-race settings notes. We had a severe storm on official training on Friday. The team mechanics completely disassembled the bike after training so that everything was as it should be for the race the next day.
Like you, we aren’t ready to give up on enduro this year. And the good news is that the best is yet to come. Our riders, technical staff and partners are already working on the next challenges to carry us through the year. More races and top performances are just around the corner, and we’ll be there to tell you all about it.
Together we go further.

There is only one ride available and it must be at the highest possible level. That’s why we do track walk! The key to success is collaboration. A storm always brings change, there are waves at sea, surfers have taken advantage.
