Still a Chance
As long as a person is alive, there is hope. There is still a chance.
After witnessing the devastating impact of opioid addiction firsthand, brothers Griffin and Cullen Easter decided to embark on the ride of their lives: OpiCure Foundation.
They turned their lifelong passion for cycling into a vehicle for recovery, a way to reclaim freedom, courage, and the drive to keep moving forward. For them, touching one life, restoring one smile, is a victory worth every effort.

Addiction knows no face, no label. And neither does cycling.
After working in the detox unit, Cullen realized that substance abuse can affect anyone, just as anyone can take to the bike. The inclusive gravel cycling community became the perfect complement, a space where judgment fades, isolation turns into belonging, and every background enriches the journey.
What cycling offers can translate into every aspect of life.
From riding BMX bikes around the neighborhood to racing across continents as professionals; for the Easter brothers, cycling has always been a fulfilling journey, full of endless potential for recovery.
One event, one story, one bike.
This year, OpiCure is embracing a new approach to storytelling, honoring voices shaped by struggle and creating space for both healing and connection. After hearing these unique stories, the brothers will take on formidable challenges, not only to honor each journey but also to raise funds to gift them a bike.
"Linking up with a brand like Orbea has been a dream. They’re not just focused on performance, they care about people and want to give back." — Griffin Easter
«Cycling is a new sense of freedom.»
Everyone craves escapism, one way or another. Many people turn to substances in search of endorphins and a fleeting escape from reality. But Ben has discovered a different path, one far more beneficial for his health, his future, and his mind.
Patients lit up when asked about their first bike, proof that it can unlock joy buried beneath struggle.
For OpiCure, the bicycle became a powerful tool to transform pain into hope.
When we throw on the OpiCure jersey, it does give us power.
For the Easter brothers, every race is not for themselves, but for those still struggling, those they’ve lost, and those fighting to reclaim their lives. Addiction, like the steepest climbs, tests your strength, will, and focus, reminding you that only by pushing through the hardest moments can you reach the top of the mountain.
Enjoy the route!
